When we say "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean Elegant Style and More, the company behind elegant-cars.com. When we say "you," we mean you — a visitor to our website or someone who reaches out to us through our inquiry form.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

Information you give us directly

When you send us an inquiry, we collect: your name (to address you personally), email address (to reply), phone number (optional, for faster contact), event date (optional, to check availability), your message (to understand your needs), and vehicle of interest (to know which car you like). We only use this to respond to your inquiry and coordinate a rental. We do not use it for marketing.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics 4 (G-04R3011ND4) collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type) — it does not identify you personally. Google Ads (AW-11213118615) measures whether our ads help people find us. Spam protection uses honeypot fields + timing analysis (no third-party service).

Information stored in your browser

Recently viewed vehicles (localStorage) and cookie consent preference (localStorage) never leave your browser. We cannot access them.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not create user accounts or require registration
• We do not collect or process payment information
• We do not use social media tracking pixels
• We do not use third-party advertising cookies beyond Google Ads conversion tracking

3. Cookies and Tracking

Necessary: Cookie consent state (localStorage) — required for the site to function. Cannot be disabled. Spam protection is entirely server-side.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic and behavior data, up to 14 months. Only activated after consent.

Marketing: Google Ads conversion tracking — measures ad effectiveness, up to 90 days. Only activated after consent.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the footer link or by clearing browser data.

Inquiry submissions are stored securely on our hosting provider's servers. Access is limited to the business owner and authorized staff. We use HTTPS encryption on all pages, secure hosting infrastructure, limited access controls, and regular software updates.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to: access your data (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restrict processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), object to processing (Art. 21), and withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)).

You may also lodge a complaint with Agencija za zastitu osobnih podataka (AZOP) at azop.hr.

8. Data Retention

• Inquiry data (name, email, phone, message): 2 years from date of inquiry
• Google Analytics data: per Google's settings (default 14 months)
• Google Ads data: per Google's settings
• Cookie preference: until you clear browser data
• Recently viewed vehicles: up to 30 days (auto-cleared)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we update the "Last updated" date. For material changes affecting data processing, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.
